Why celebrities, like politicians, are experts at manipulating the media

I think it would be prudent of us to read real-life tales of people who believed in themselves and in their goals and went on to realize their dreams. It is worthwhile to quote the example of Erik Weihenmayer, the man who was sure he could reach the Everest and made it possible. And for a blind man as he, to accomplish this is no mean thing!

His success may be attributed to his careful planning and undaunted hard work apart from of course, oodles of optimism in him, as mentioned in his book, Touch the top of the World.

This is what the wonder man has to say to all his fans and young aspirants that the first step toward achieving your goal, which could be a life style change is to completely believe in what you are doing. As long as you don't have second thoughts about your work and are completely justified about your aim, then, you may be sure that you can surely realize your dreams.

It is quite natural for any of us to feel let down and discouraged at our failures and the negative thoughts and doubts that are bound to torment our mind when faced with problems in the course of our daily life. But it is at this juncture that we must act intelligently and turn all our hurdles into our opportunities. You need to be fully aware of your strengths and utilize them to overcome the obstacles and hey Presto! You will find yourself doing more than you thought you could ever achieve.

The adage, "Even the word impossible says I am possible"; holds well in such a situation.

Let me quote another example. Did you know that Tex Gunning, the President of Unilever Bestfoods, Asia started learning the tricks of his trade at the age of forty-five? It was only after that that his strategies led to dealing with the child-hunger problem in Asia. The tactful businessman has been quoted as saying that it was the innumerable skeptical remarks and comments doubting his possibility of realizing his dream that helped him plod on to achieve what he wanted.

Such examples clearly suggest to you that the more difficult tasks you undertake with the belief of accomplishing them, the more likely it is for your creativity to get kindled and enhanced and make you attain the target. Shed your inhibitions and never give room to any second thoughts once you are convinced of what you want to do, see how long you can progress with your current assets and go ahead. Take your cues from your optimistic attitude and then there's no stopping you from scaling greater heights.
