When The Going Gets
Tough, The Tough Gets Going!
I am sure that all of us, at some point of time in life or
the other, have been victims of pain, deceit, defeat, solitude
and problems. It is difficult to evade problems in life.
Curl Your Own Hair And Other Options To Change Who You Are
Variations on what men and women want and that includes curling your own hair.
How often have you prayed and wished for a problem-free
life? Quite often is likely to be the answer. But the truth is
no man is that island yet. All of us suffer setbacks and
upheavals in the course of our lifetime; it is just that we
find ourselves crippled at the slightest inkling of trouble
coming towards us.
Just catch up with your neighbor for a small chat in the
evening and it won't be long before you realize that your
worries and woes are trivial compared to your neighbor's.
Sadly, it is human nature that we often tend to assume that the
pasture is greener on the other side, which is not the case
most often than not.
By looking deeper into the difficulties that we are often
faced with, we will realize that the troubles that we came
across have actually made us stronger. Many of us tend to
overlook the fact that some of the best lessons that we learn
are not learnt in the classroom but through our experiences.
Lessons that made our pride go before a fall or made us more
courageous and confidence after being on a razor's edge are the
ones that change our lives and also act as a guide to
others.
In times of trouble, more important is, the maturity and the
presence of mind to turn the problem to our advantage. You must
try and figure out how best you can treat the problem as an
opportunity for you to progress in life. Be it a personal
crisis or a problem that your best buddy is faced with, try and
convince yourself or the affected person to act calm and not
get stressed out. A clear head often helps you solve the
problem quicker than you thought you could.
Just treat your woes as you would your guest at home on an
unexpected occasion and give your best shot to tackle the
problem smartly and quickly. The real problem lies not in the
problem but in how you solve it. Never treat the pain that the
problem is giving you as a burden; instead, look at it as a way
to grow into a better person. It may sound unbelievable but
it's true that it is the problem that you're faced with that
helps you gain an insight about yourself. The more you become
mature in handling things, the more it will help you realize
your identity, your strengths and capabilities.
The first time you come across trouble, it helps you get
prepared for more such troubles in the future. You can be sure
that the next time you execute a task; you will see yourself
doing it in a planned way whilst taking necessary precautions
to prevent its recurrence. Once you start thinking about how
the problem could be solved, it will help you think out-of-box
and newer and effective ways to get rid of it quickly.
The more hurdles you overcome without getting daunted or
discouraged, the stronger will you be once you are out of it.
Life's problems make you think and be more practically and
prepare you better as you plod on through its bumpy paths.
Think smart and be bold for a happy and safe journey
in life.
